So, we are a Roku house. TV in every room, many with Roku built in. Went through the hassle of switching to a cablecard/HDHomeRun setup to take advantage of the new Live TV and DVR functionality of Plex. Really focusing on the DVR side of things. Only to discover Roku doesn’t do the DVR stuff…yet.
Please tell me this is something the developers are hard at work trying to rectify and that it is not being ignored??? Thanks much.
FYI, yes I am using my computer/web app to schedule recordings. While that is fine for me, not everyone in the house is that tech savy. They want the full functionality available from the sofa/living-room environment. That means they need it to work within the Roku app.
I too am wanting an update on this. They added it to Apple TV, so no reason why they can’t deliver it for Roku, either. Hopefully very soon, as that functionality on iPhone or iPad is completely broken and gives a 400 error.
