I believe it could be the default overclock settings by Rasplex are too high for some rpi's. This is also being discussed in the support thread. I think it's set to 900 with overvolt = 2. While doing some research about overclocking on openelec in the past I remember seeing a lot of people having trouble overclocking over 850. Pop your SD card into a computer and edit the config.txt file. At the bottom you will see what rasplex has set for the default overclock settings. I would turn it down to the values below and then give it a try. If you are still having issues, you may need to format and re-image your sd card. The crashes from overclocking your rpi too high can corrupt the SD. If it does work, you can try testing some higher values to see how high you can get it without it rebooting.
Thanks a lot for those settings timtlm! These (and a different PSU) finally made my RPi stable as well! Now I can actually start using and testing Rasplex :)

If those settings are more stable, I'll push them into the beta
The only value that was different from the list that TimTim posted was the core freq. Mine was running 450. I then changed it to 350.
Although I haven't seen any reboots yet after the change. None of my moves will playback on the RP. They either return a general error about not being able to play, or appear to begin playing only to show a fullscreen black? They all work fine on ATV, iOS and Samsung SmartTV?
It's mostly resumed playback that fails with an error message, where as play from the beginning simple does nothing (no errors).
Although I have had 1 incident where after ca. 12 minutes of waiting the playback started (it was a 480p movie)
I have a spare RP that I just tried out with. But same results.
I must be doing something oddly wrong since it is this buggy and unstable?

Any other tips up your sleeves? ;-)
Thanks, Peter
I'll try this out on one of my 256 pis and get back to you
