I recently migrated Plex from Windows to Docker on Linux.
This went ok, except for copying settings etc from one to the other, I basically had to rebuild all libraries etc, but once completed everything was fine including watched history and continue watching lists.
The issue I then had was the UI was very slow, and after some reading realised my idea to map the config folder to a NAS wasn’t as good as I thought and was the reason for the speed issues I had with the UI.
So I migrated the config to local storage (direct copy from NAS to local volume) but again Plex didn’t remember the libraries, even though these were the same paths and I just moved the config files, so I had to set these up yet again.
After scanning these all appeared including watched history etc, but the issue I now have is the Continue Watching list is cleared. It is set to remember 50 entries over 26 weeks, but now only includes anything I watch since the migration. If I look at the activity or watched history I can see anything I watched in the past few days, but these don’t appear in continue watching.
I have restarted many times and rescanned libraries, but cannot get my continue watching list back.
TLDR;
Migration of config files somehow cleared Continue Watching list, even though it is sync’ed online. I can see my watched history and activity, but Continue Watching only adds newly watched items.
How can I make Plex rebuild this from my activity, since it knows what I have watched, surely it can rebuild the continue watching list.
