Recent update (in the last week) means cannot play content

An update somewhere, with er xbox or the plex server, has borked playback on the xbox one (again). All other devices work fine. Playback will pause for 5-60 seconds every 5-20 seconds, and is obviously unwatchable. I have not found a piece of content that is not affected yet.

The transcoder seems to be running for everything i try to play (no direct?)… I have a QNAP 859+ Pro which runs at <30% and ~50% memory usage at all times.

All plex apps are up to date on all devices. I have tried over wired and wifi connections to no avail.

Is there a support contact for these kind of problems? I pay good money for this poor service, and can’t find a contact number or email anywhere.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Hi there. Sorry to hear you’re having issues with playback. Could you possibly post some server logs when you play back something on the Xbox One with debugging output enabled?

Sure, where would I find the logs?

I am trying to attach logs from today, after attempting to play a few videos. It appears that you are using a very outdated editor, which is throwing exceptions due to deprecated XHR requests. I would attach a log, but, well, i cant

From the server view, it appears to be buffering every few seconds, even on direct play. None of the edit box buttons are working, this is from 2 different browsers (chrome and safari) and 2 different internet connections with no ad blocking or firewalls.

Here are the logs to download

cheers

@Moussa were you able to access the logs ok?

@blackbadger Got them thanks! I’ll have a look through them to see what I can spot.

@blackbadger Could you capture logs without verbose logging enabled and also debugging enabled within the Xbox One app. You can find that setting inside the settings menu.
