Android mobile 8.13.1
Pex Web local 4.51.1
Plex web hosted 4.52.2
PLEX for Win 10: v1.21.4.4079
NVShield Pro 2019 PLEX: v8.13.1.23036 (f1e7d9a8)
NVShield Pro 2019 SW : v8.2.2(32.6.509.0)
Having the same issue:
I have three âmovieâ libraries, one for 4K UHD titles, one for Blu-Ray titles and one for pre-roll trailers. Each is using a different Scanner and Agent.
On my PC web interface, I can add separate âRecently Added in 4K moviesâ, âRecently Added in Blu-Ray moviesâ, etc. It works as it should without issue.
On the NVShield Pro 2019 (Android) the PLEX system labels each as generic âRecently Addedâ and combines both 4K and Blu-Ray in each one, with no apparent actual rational as to how or why itâs combining them as they are not listed in date added order. For the BDR titles, the recently added tends to duplicate some titles!@
Trying to manage the hub myself is fruitless and results in massive frustration as this feature doesnât work as it should, either.
Please, get this working soon. Organization is key to having a PLEX client.
on none of my devices it is showing correctly.
pc, web, ios, os, android, atv.
For me, I only see the library name included on the Roku client. I use the preview release but I think the production release shows it too.
Same here.
i have also this Problem on my shield 2019 with the latest beta version.
With the latest beta version for Android:
Still no extra information for the Recently Added hubs. (i.e. no library name)
Bonus feature:
All of the hubs show exactly the same content in the same order, from across all libraries of the same type. For me, thatâs 3 identical rows of Recently Added Movies, and 2 identical rows of Recently Added TV. (I have 3 movie libraries and 2 TV libraries)
Extra Bonus Feature
Resetting the customization for the home page will add an extra Recently Added hub for TV and Movies, so now I have four RA movie hubs and three RA television hubs.
I didnât even try to manage manually to remove hubs. To be honest, any attempt at that was a failure previously, and I donât expect an improvement if manage automatically doesnât work.
PLEX for Win 10: v1.22.0.4157
NVShield Pro 2019 PLEX: v8.14.0.23337 (b55c14a7)
NVShield Pro 2019 SW : v8.2.2(32.6.509.0)
The latest update on NVShield Pro 2019 fixed a few of the problems, but also created 2 additional problems.
For my 2 units, the HOME bars are now correct, showing Recently Added for each separate library, Blu-Ray and 4K UHD. The libraries are still all generically titles âRecently Addedâ and should be changed on the HOME section to reflect the actual library name. There is no more blending of my libraries in these bars for me.
!HOWEVER! - 2 new problems arose:
when PLEX is first started, it reverts back to the scrambled RECENTLY ADDED problem. If I move to a library, then come back to the HOME section, it unscrambles and shows correctly.
if I manually edit the HOME section to exclude or change the order, the CONTINUE PLAYING section defaults to ONLY one library, my Blu-Ray library, and excludes the 4K UHD library. Resetting brings back this information.
Itâs MUCH closer, PLEX!
Is that a beta version?
I can only assume itâs a beta version.
Holly cow thanks for fixing it on android devices my android tv and mobile now shows everything correctly.
Thanks for that.
Any new for the fix on windows and plexweb?
EDIT: after renaming the different libraries it showed it correctly in plexweb latest version.
I was hopeful that it had somehow been magically fixed, but I donât seem to see a difference.
Maybe Iâm looking for a different fix, and canât see something obvious. Everything looks exactly the same as it did a couple of weeks ago. I didnât rename the libraries (and Iâm not going to) because I donât consider a work-around like that as a bug-fix.
Try going from Auytomatic to Manual and back to Automatic Home setup.
My library names are displayed for each Recently Added now (Android phone). Havenât tried on the Shield or FireStick yet.
We still donât have the option of all TV in one line and all Movies in one line.
Once again, hopeful, but no dice.
LOL - if thereâs a positive to this mess, I can basically reset customization to automatic, switch to manual, revert back to automatic, repeat, repeat, repeat with my eyes closed. Happy itâs fixed for some, happier when itâs actually fixed for everyone.
Did you hold you left foot in the air while switching?
I donât really consider forced to have multiple RA rows fixed but I can at least see what library they belong to.
If I hold my left foot in the air, do I at least get Library titles in the RA hubs? 'cause they ainât no such thing as far as I can tellâŠ
Not to rub it in but I get library titles on my Shield (8.14.1.23512) and FireStick (8.14.0.23432). Without the Home switching and left foot procedure.

NVShield Pro 2019 SW : v8.2.2(32.6.509.0)
The latest 8.15.0.23620 reset the issue back to square one:
I have three âmovieâ libraries, one for 4K UHD titles, one for Blu-Ray titles and one for pre-roll trailers. Each is using a different Scanner and Agent.
On the NVShield Pro 2019 (Android) the PLEX system labels each as generic âRecently Addedâ and combines both 4K and Blu-Ray in each one, with no apparent actual rational as to how or why itâs combining them as they are not listed in date added order. What naming do you use for your libraries?
I use the default and then add extra for others
eg
Movies
Movies (Recorded)
Just wondering if using the generic name has any impact on this (Movies is default when adding library), I am using the same version on Firestick as you, but i just get multiple rows labelled âRecently Added Moviesâ
I name my libraries similar to the way you are.
Movies 1 (Recent)
Movies 2 (Archived)
Movies 3 (Animated)
The 1, 2 and 3 are from the days when alphabetical order was a part of Plex.
