I recently updated my Plex server and now the web app cant find it. It just sits on the “Looking for servers” screen and never finds it. My Roku app cant find the server either.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the server but was never presented with the Wizard after reinstalling and launching the web app. All of the services/processes are running.
Any help would be appreciated. This is enough to have me ditch Plex entirely.
I’m having major problems with Plex too since the latest update. Tried to uninstall and reinstall it again, it tells me the setup was “Successful” and has a button under it that says ‘Launch’ to turn the program on but when I click that button the server never loads. The folder was never created in my program files folder and no start menu shortcut was created either. I try clicking on the setup again to repair the install and nothing works, I uninstall it and install it again rebooting my computer in between and it still won’t work. I don’t know what the heck Plex did but they’ve royally screwed things up with their latest update and I’m about ready to ditch Plex too, I’ve had enough and you don’t get any help by the programmers when you post issues here you just get ignored. We need answers now.
