No, it is not.
Do the following:
- tell your web browser to NOT delete the cookie from plex.tv when it is closed. If you are using external apps which do delete cookies (like e.g. CCleaner) tell them likewise.
- open the web app, Go to Settings - Plex Web - General and ensure that the checkbox “Remember selected tab” is ticked
From now on, you will go directly to the tab that you used last when entering a library.
And can we do this on Apple TV ?

I don’t have one, but I’m told it should have a similar preference.
I just checked, and it’s already checked and it doesn’t change anything at all unfortunately.
In what Apple TV model and Plex app version are you experiencing this?
From what I’ve seen, it can happen that Plex forgets the previous selection under certain circumstances, e.g. if tvOS purges the memory assigned to the app. But generally, if I select a tab, that selection will stick if I come back to that library.
Just verified on my Apple TV 4K from 2022 w/ tvOS 17.6.1 and Plex 8.39 (both, regular and TestFlight versions).
