Again and again when I open a Library it starts in “Recommended” mode, I have to change all my Library’s from “Recommended” to “Library”
alter some day’s and after each update all Libs are by default back to “Recommended”
in settings: the option: “Remember selected tab” is SELECTED
a bit irritating this.

For the web player is your browser set to delete cookies after the browser is closed? Do you have Settings Sync enabled (in the General settings of web app)?
Happens with me on Plex HTPC and web browser (inconsistent however).
With web browser, no autodelete cookies.
yes, same for the apple-TV app,
with the newest plex server from this week, the problem has become worser.
every time I start my apple-tv, it goes to recommended.
This feature has been present for quite some time now.
It’s of course a total coincidence it defaults to whatever Plex is pushing. It is also known Plex can’t reproduce it either while everyone else can’t not reproduce it. The deja vu is strong in all of the bug reports.
Apple TV issue mentioned above is a device memory issue as far as where that data is stored we are looking into. AppleTV Player Version 8.1x doesn't save home screen preferences - #7 by alanh220 it happens to me to at times on Apple TV.
