Recording 100% Complete but never moves to "recorded" so I can watch the shows.

Plex DVR recording is infuriating. My recordings just sit there as Recording – 100% Complete and stay there. Why the heck aren’t they moving into recorded shows I can watch? I am on the latest paid version of Plex using an HDHomeRun OTA tuner.

I have experienced the same thing. I have found that when I am seeing this, I do the following:

  1. Look into the ‘.grab’ folder and locate the recordings
  2. if the recordings seem complete (by checking their file size), move the recordings to their respective location
  3. restart PMS

Then all is well for a few weeks…until it happens again and I haven’t found a cause.

Also, please note that, in my fix/work around above, I have tried to, first, restart PMS and experienced different results (at different times):

  1. all recordings “stuck” in the ‘.grab’ folder were automatically moved in their respective locations, OR
  2. all recordings were lost!

I’m still having this problem with latest Version 1.11.1.4753. It’s soo frustrating! I checked the .grab folder and my recording is in there. But it is also in the library folder. I manually refreshed the folder and the recording shows up, but the program guide shows Recording 100% as if it’s still recording and no play function is showing up.
