Hi, I’m using an up-to-date Plex on Windows, with a HDHomeRun tuner. I set up EPG and programs appear correctly in schedules. They are also recorded well since proper .ts files are created in a .grab folder inside the folder corresonding to the specified library.
However, while recorded and claimed 100% finished, the programs just don’t show up in the selected library. The files remain hidden in the .grab folder without any convenient access to them.
What can I do ? I tried manual updates for libraries (doen’t work) and tried with personal media agent (just in case but doesn’t work).
I have the same issue but with a linux server, HDHomerun tuner and up to date plex (Version 1.9.2.4285). I have 4 recordings from yesterday that show as 100% complete in the recordings schedule, but they don’t show anywhere else in plex and are not accessible to play. I’m also having issues with recordings that just don’t capture for whatever reason.
Today update : 1.9.4. The update is supposed to do something with DVR and actually, one recording did almost succeed today. I’ll let the DVR run a couple of days to check if it is OK and if it does not, I’ll have a look at Emby. Plex perhaps arrived to its collapse point ;(
Just a guess but I bet there still sitting in the transcoder cache and for whatever reason the transcoder isn’t remuxing the tiny little files into one single file and transferring it to permanent storage.
I had that happen once that I know of. The difference was I could play the show up to about half way then it would quit. It did show up in my recorded shows.
