I’ve had a series set up for some time recording College Football and it’s worked fairly well. Obviously with six total tuners I have some that aren’t recorded, but it gives me plenty of football to watch in the offseason. About a week ago the library text changed from the teams to the date. Not sure what caused that since many were already old but it happened. The file names are still the same and include all the pertinent details. To be clear, these are recorded on Plex, so not sure why it’s difficult.
This morning I checked and all the football for the day wasn’t being recorded. Not sure why, as it was recorded yesterday, but no college football moving forward. So I deleted the series and just picked some specific games off the Plex guide to record. Looking at the scheduled recordings it showed no upcoming games, even though I pulled it directly off the plex guide.
Any thoughts? I’m back to HDHomerun for Football now, but I’d really like to cut over to only plex. This is a pretty bad setback in terms of reliability.
