3 out of 5 NFL games disappeared from schedule

I had setup for 5 NFL game recordings, which should have been fine with my 3 tuner HDHR Prime. Checked this morning before anything started and it all looked good.

First game seemed to be fine. Checked this afternoon and 3 of the 5 of games have disappeared. See schedule now:

What the heck happened? I never opened anything else on the network that could have interfered with the tuners. I’ve attached my logs. I’m on 1.9.3. I don’t know what I’m looking for in the logs or I’d try to figure this out myself.

Edit: I realize it could look like I just cropped the first picture but I didn’t, the other 3 games are no longer on the schedule.

Small update: the Sunday night game did end up showing back up in my schedule view and appears to be recording now. The two 4-8 games weren’t recorded and never re-appeared in my recording schedule.

Here’s what it looks like now:

Same issue, hopefully there’s a fix. I’ve tried changing the recorder setting but this is the 3rd weekend in a roll I’ve missed one or more NFL games.

Another Sunday, another day of mysteriously disappearing recordings. This time I downgraded to 1.6.1.3722 because I’ve seen so many people say this was the last reliable dvr build.

Here’s my recording schedule early in the afternoon:

Here’s my recording schedule later in the afternoon. Notice the Sunday night game (820pm start time) is gone.

Logs are attached. On the bright side, this means I can upgrade back to most recent stable since obviously my problem is not due to any recent developments. It’d be really great if someone can please look into this though. This is my 3rd or 4th post on this topic and most of the time other people also post similar issues (vanharris in this thread) and I haven’t heard any feedback.

I’m running Plex on Windows 10 with a HDHomeRun Prime on same network. This has happened on 1.6.1, 1.9.2, and 1.9.3. NFL games are the only things I’m having issues with I think.

Edit: The game that wasn’t recorded today was Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans. I don’t even know what log I should look in to find this but if you’re searching, looking for Kansas should help (instead of NFL since there are 5 games today?)

Edit 2: Actually, searching through the Media Server Log, it keeps saying it found a match in the library for Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. Is that why it didn’t record it, because it thought it already had that episode? But it doesn’t have that episode so why would it think that?

Edit 3: Okay, the following line on media server log 5:
t 08, 2017 18:01:37.106 [3104] DEBUG - MediaSub: We found a match in the library for ‘Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans’
So at 18:01 it things it already has a copy of this game so it doesn’t grab it. But the game doesn’t start until 20:20. Why does it think it has a match? Looking at my logs from last week it appears to be similar thing happening.

Is there a way to record episodes Plex thinks it already has? If so, that seems like the easiest fix. There’s not a whole lot of rerun NFL games so it seems that completely solve my problem.

Another Sunday, another missed football game. Below is recording schedule. I didn’t take a “before” screenshot, but there was a game between New York Giants and Denver Broncos that should have recorded at 830pm.

Logs attached. Again, Plex is deciding it already has an instance of that episode for some reason and skipping it. Here is what I found in the log:

Oct 15, 2017 19:27:53.086 [18232] DEBUG - DVR:Subscription: We found a match in the library for ‘NFL Football - New York Giants at Denver Broncos’

That was at 1927, game started at 2030. Why does it think it has a match? There are no other games that include either of those teams in my library right now.

This is now the 3rd time I’m bumping this thread with specific info and logs. I’d really appreciate it if someone can get back to me, I also doubt I’m the only person this is happening to. Let me know if you require any additional information.

Could this be a SD / HD issue with the program guide? How do you have the resolution set to record? do you have it limited to a specific channel?

Up until this weekend I had been limiting by channel instead of picking a resolution but I decided that for sports that can air on multiple channels that I’d do the painful task of selecting the HD only channels on my 3 Primes. This way even if the EPG thinks the show is in SD on an HD channel . . . it will record off the HD channel.

My issue with Sunday Football was that I had one game set to record and it only recorded one hour of it and just stopped. The schedule showed that it was going to record for 3 hours. i had set the Advanced Recording options for 1 minute before and 35 minutes after. Also, the one football game was the only thing set to record all day.

(I just figured Plex was smart enough, that after Rodgers went out of the game, it sparred me the disappointment of watching the entire game.)
