This is something of a feature request more so then a question.
Recently I had a recording conflict that I needed to resolve. The PMS (Version 1.9.2.4285) in question has a SiliconDust HDHomeRun Prime with three tuners via CableCard. I have a moderate to an aggressive recording schedule but this was one of the first conflicts that I have had to manually deal with because much to the credit of Plex developers many conflicts were auto resolved. That is to say, that when all three tuners have a scheduled use but there were additional first showings of scheduled shows that outnumbered the tuner count, Plex was smart enough to schedule the next scheduled run of the conflicting episode with specificity. This usually was an hour or two later.
In this case the show was:

“Channel Zero” S02E04 Wed 10/11 @ 10:00 to 11:00 pm (SyFy-HD)
“The Shannara Chronicles” S02E01 Wed 10/11 @ 10:00 to 11:02 pm (SPIKE-HD)
“Broad City” S04E04 Wed 10/11 @ 10:00 to 10:30 (CC-HD)
“Mr. Robot” S03E01 Wed 10/11 @ 10:00 to 11:00 (USA-HD)
The problem I was having, beyond this not being auto negotiated, was that when I tried to manually choose a repeat showing for shows like “Broad City” and “Mr. Robot” the alternate times shown that were suppose to represent repeats of the given episode were outright wrong.
So for example, navigating as follows:
In the Calender view of Recording Schedule
Click the conflicting show “Broad City” > Modify Recording > Show Advanced > Limit to Airing Time >
There were then some times listed but no time correlated to an actual time of a repeat showing of the given episode. In other words they were nonsensical inapplicable times. What, I ask you, is the point of that,…???
I had to verify the times with a full grid guide that I trusted to make this determination so I knew what time I was looking for the repeat showing of the given episode. Choosing a time that was close in Plex, off by one or two min, simply resulted in the scheduled recording disappearing from the list.
It took time but I eventually attempted triage (to cut my losses) and elevated a new show that was conflicting in priority “The Shannara Chronicles”. This resulted in the other new scheduled recording “Mr. Robot” being auto scheduled to:

That is fine naturally. However, it’s unintuitive.
I would like the ability to reschedule a recording of a conflicting show at a specific time that is known to be a repeat showing of a specific episode. In the case of a show like “Mr. Robot”, “Channel Zero” or “Broad City” there may be many such rebroadcasts throughout the week at different times. In fact there are,…
Auto rescheduling based on Recording Priority can work but its clumsy and lacks granularity. An auto rescheduled recording could easily conflict with another previously scheduled recording.
