Recording created, "unknown error occurred", recording ok in destination but not showing in Plex (Drobo and Mac HD results same)

For the past 2 days, I have been having problems with my recordings. Generally the following occurs: during recording, everything looks ok, then after completion: in DVR schedule, status is highlighted “an unknown error occurred”. When I look to destination drive, file appears and can be played natively on my Mac. Recording does not show up on Plex. Started happening with most recent PMS update (1.19.3.2852). Similar problem happened with a media file created outside of Plex: saved file to folder identified in Plex, can play directly from Finder, Recording does not show up in Plex. I tried deleting and recreating DVR, and as I mentioned recording show on both Drobo (DAS) and local Macintosh HDD.
