A local TV channel has 5 minute news programs in the middle of movies, which are listed separately. So on the guide they appear as , , . It appears that plex is only recording the first part of the movie, but not the rest.
Is there any way around this issue?

Bit of a bother though - it completely cuts against the âsimplicityâ that Plex presents in terms of information (flicking back and forth, etc).
Has there been any update on this problem other than the âworkaroundâ listed above? I understand that plex have moved from their previous epg provider and that is causing a lot of issues. Movies being cut off due to entertainment news is my major concern but the actual guide data broken also. In the last month I have had at least 20 movies not record even though they were scheduled only for the airing date to come and go and nothing records. The Guide is also registering documentaries and other specials as movies now and not pulling the correct metadata for the posters. As a plex pass subscriber can we please have some update on this?
