I am a long time Kodi user who has recently switched over to Plex and the FireTV Cube and I have a few requests that would make app more user friendly and wife approved, lol.
Currently when selecting a show in the guide that is in progress the playback starts. There should be an option to start playback or record the show. Both of which would start from the current point in the show. That is how the web player works.
Also, please color code the “New” and “Recording” indicators in the guide. That would make them much easier to see when viewing the guide on a TV from 10 feet away.
One last request, it would be nice if you could select what days to view in the guide like you can in the web player. That makes it much easier to schedule recordings. I currently have to use the web app to schedule the recordings.
