I’ve updated my Windows PMS to the latest version 1.4.3.3433 with DVR used with my HDHomerun.
I can update my EPG properly. I can watch all the coming series and films on the “Program Guide” page.
I can, as well, program a recording for a complete serie (here Columbo) and I can see that all the coming episodes are set to be recorded (see below the first picture). The EPG has as well given the correct date and time info.
But when I go on the “Recording Schedule” page… it is empty. Nothing. No recording planned.???
This is an image of the Recording Schedule. It shows nothing listed in the calendar after March 7. Also under Recording Priority it shows no upcoming airings beside each show.
SOLVED? (for me at least) I was having this same problem and tried the reboot with no luck. I looked at the recordings I had setup and the directories to save the recordings were wrong. Once I fixed them they started showing up again in the recording schedule. Evidently, the recording is “invalid” so it doesn’t populate the recording grid - makes sense - since it wont record. And alerted there is a problem but it wasn’t clear what is the cause of the problem. Perhaps PLEX could color the recording card on the right with a background color of red to indicate there is an error?

I did several things in addition to a reboot. One of the problems Plex DVR seemed to have was getting through all the channels I had in total with their EPG. It would hang up and then restart over and over again. I figured I would limit the number of channels that the EPG had to go through down from 500+ to about 62 that I used on a normal basis. You can access this through Settings/Server/Live TV & DVR in the Plex Media Server App. I ditched all repeat channels and just kept the ones in HD. I got rid of any channel that I didn’t have as well as those I knew I wasn’t going to watch like Golf Channel and the like. I reboot my whole system about once a week on a night when not much else is going on to keep everything running smoothly, and I look for updates that Plex releases on their download page to download directly from there over updating within the Server App. That all seems to keep things working well. I hope that helps.
I have to reopen this topic. I just installed Plex on my NAS Synology DS 718+.
I have the same problem, I selected the recording within the EPG and the recording is shown in the EPG but NOT in the Recording Schedule.
