I’m customizing my DVR settings a bit more, and I’ve run into a snag that I’m not sure how to optimize:
The local news channel that I’d like to record has daily broadcasts at 5pm, 6pm, and 11pm. They all have the same name in the guide (“Channel 2 News”). I’d like to record the 6pm and 11pm broadcasts, mostly so that if I’m running late I can watch them from the start.
However, I don’t care to watch the 5pm broadcast. While it has the same name, it’s more of a light topics/community show instead of a news show.
How do I set my Plex DVR to record only the 6pm and 11pm broadcasts? I seem to only be able to select one time in the Advanced Options, and I don’t see a way to set up two recordings of a show with the same name at two different times…
