How do I go about diagnosing why Plex seems to not record things that are clearly set up to record? I have often seen things in the records list that should be recorded but when I check back later they have not been recorded. I’ve had several shows set up to record all new episodes for the last 3 weeks and so far only a single episode of a single show has been recorded. I checked IMDB and there have been new episodes of all the shows.
I downloaded the log files from the server but which file do I look in and are there particular things I should look for? I looked in the log file that seemed to be most likely related to this and the newest entries were for today so that’s not going to help me understand why it has only recorded one episode of one show over the last 3 weeks.
I see that this question has been asked by quite a few people here on the forums and generally it looks like it doesn’t get answered. Sorry for the duplication but since the other ones didn’t have an answer and the topic was closed so I couldn’t comment on those posts I thought I’d bring it up again.
