Recordings Not Appearing

Hi -

Have an issue where I have shows setup to record via Plex DVR. I was able to get a few episodes successfully recorded, but seems lately, shows appear to have recorded, but when i go to check, no file appears. Anyone else having this issue?

System Details:
Windows 10 Home
Plex version 1.7.5.4035

Yep, exactly the same.

In the Recording Schedule, the episode seems to have been 100% recorded. But it’s not present in TV Shows.

I’m running 1.7.4.4017 on Nvidia Shield

Update -

Uninstalled//Reinstalled Plex 1.7.5.4035 and did a few test recordings. Appear I now am able to see the play button and file shows up. I’ll continue to monitor on shows i have setup for reoccurring recording.

the 1.7.x versions of PMS appears to have broken DVR functionality, downgrading back to 1.6.1 resolves the problem but it does not include Live TV.

I am also using HD HomeRun 2 Tuner setup

I have 2 HDHomeRun Extend devices (2 tuners each so 4 tuners total) and I’ve noticed it doesn’t even bother using the 2nd device tuners, it just keeps recording everything on 1 device and goes way beyond the 2 tuners that device has.

Before buying my Extend devices I had a Haumpage HDQuad tuner card (4 tuners) and had this same problem as well as issues where Plex would say it could no longer find the device until I restarted PMS. I thought that returning that $95 card for 2 $179 each HDHomeRun Extend devices would solve all my problems… but nope, not so much.

I have the same problem. Can you detail how you uninstalled - reinstalled plex to resolve the issue? Did you have to remove all settings and meta data?

What OS are you on?

If you are using Plex for Windows you just need to do a standard uninstall from control panel “Program and Features” and then reinstall using the appropriate installer for the version that works (1.6.1 works fine for me).

Sorry, I can’t speak to how to uninstall on a MAC, NAS, nVidia etc…
