Recordings save with incorrect date

The following issue has been present for a few months and I’ve been ignoring it assuming it would be bugged in an upcoming release. Finally got annoyed enough to search here and i don’t see any mention, so here i am.

Scenario: I have a program that I record nightly, The Rachel Maddow show. Everything goes along swimmingly, until it gets into the Library. At that point it is showing up with dates weeks in advanced. For example, last night’s episode has a date of 11/20/18 (today is the 6th).

Date and time are correct on the server and everywhere else that I see (this is a synology NAS)
I’ve tried deleting the recording and recordings and recreating

TODO: I have an older SYNO NAS that I use for other tasks, My next step is to setup live tv on it and see if I get the same result. Possibly it’s my guide feed?

Anyone ever seen something like this?

Does it say it is Episode 222? If so it is possible the Guide Date is reporting the wrong episode information or TheTVDB has incorrect data.

Thanks, that was my thought too. I currently don’t have any recordings right now, and there was none last night. I’ll check tonight. Though it seems to me it was just incorrect date.

I have the same problem as well recording the NBC News every night. Right now it’s 3 days ahead.
