Recover Account Without Access to E-Mail Via Plex Pass As Last Resort

My previous plex account was associated with a throwaway email and Google refuses to allow me back in. I do not remember any of my passwords because I use a pw manager and theyre all strong random-character string passwords. I accidentally formatted that database one day so I lost all my passwords therefore access to the reset password via email route.

I contacted plexpass@plex.tv and the employee refused to help me even after I gave them any of the info I could conceivably think of to prove I am the owner. I knew to contact them instead of coming to the forums and what info to provide because my problem is this exact one here: How to get account access with wrong e-mail

That person was able to regain access to their account even without access to reset password through their email. I provided all the info this person did right off the bat and the Plex Pass employee said that only proves access to that account, not ownership. I provided screenshots of my account on my phone and I even said I can give them a list of devices that have accessed those accounts and they told me sorry, no and that if I was a paying Plex Pass customer, I would at least have that to prove I am the owner.

I am still logged into it on my phone and am wondering if I activate a Plex Pass subscription now, that I would be able to prove that I am the owner through the financial route? Is there a way I can get a different employee to help me?? This person just shot me down even when I offered other methods of proof so paying for a Plex Pass is my last resort. I love Plex and the services you guys provide but I’m extremely frustrated right now.

If you don’t have a Plex Pass, why not just create a new account? It won’t affect your PMS setup or your watched history. You’ll need to reshare your server if you have that, but that’s it.

I would much rather keep my original account than have to make a new one.

I was able to verify ownership through a Plex Pass I purchased in the past. Problem has been resolved.

Happy new year to all.
