"recover" optimized versions?

I was dumb and destroyed my Linux server, but not the media drive. I had to reinstall plex. It’s working fine.

However, I have an ‘optimized for mobile’ file in every subdirectory. Which is ok, unless I tell it to optimize the library then it re-optimizes everything again even though files are there. Is tehre something I can do so I can auto-optimize everything that is added but not re-optimize 600 movies?

or Am I missing something ?

The database linkage to the optimized version is lost. It won’t know it belongs to the parent.
It will find it as if another version however.
