There is a strange transcoding issue with red colors only when I’m watching 4k movies on 1080p TV’s/Monitors.
What happens is the color red gets extremely blocky/choppy. When watching Hellboy the Crooked Man (logs provided for that) the end was almost unreadable due to this issue. I’ve tried changing settings on the server and client. Nothing makes a difference. I’ve had 4k media on this setup for a long time and noticed this over the last year or so.
Is there anything that can be done? It’s not the worst thing in the world but on some movies with a lot of red it makes it hard to watch.
