Hi. I installed the Plex Server yesterday and added my library to it. Because of this almost all movies are marked as not watched. After the night I noticed that I have significantly reduced hard drive space, I went to settings and saw that the default option “download trailers for unviewed movies” is enabled - I assume that’s why.
Question: What is the path of the folder? I want to look at the size. as in the admin panel, I have not found these statistics.
There is no such option. Trailers are not downloaded. They are merely streamed when used.
The shrinking space could probably be caused by some of the “Generate…” and “Analyze…” features of Plex.
Or by its ability to scan for the beginning of the credits roll (setting is called “Marker Source”).
You can disable all these under
Settings - Server - ‘Show Advanced’ - Library.
