Refresh Plex Certificate

@BigWheel

Thank you for your help and for confirming that the certificate is valid.

I have double-checked everything on my side:

  • My Synology NAS is connected via Ethernet

  • The NAS uses separate rules: it does not go through the VPN, and DNS filtering is disabled for it.

  • Port 32400 is open and correctly forwarded to the NAS.

  • Remote access works perfectly via VPN and through other mobile operators.

  • The issue only occurs when connecting through my main mobile operator on my iPhone.

Since you mentioned that the certificate is not the issue, and everything works over VPN, I suspect this is a network-level problem on the ISP side (possibly DPI filtering or blocking of Plex traffic on port 32400). I will contact my ISP again and ask them to check their network policies.

Do you have any other suggestions on what I could check or ask my ISP to verify? For example, are there any specific domains or protocols that might be blocked or interfered with?

Thank you again for your assistance!

have you asked that mobile operator?

there is a “list of IPs” link on this page https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/ under the section “IPs Being Blocked” I

@BigWheel

I have forwarded the list of IP addresses to my ISP (MegaFon). They are both my mobile and wired internet provider, so the request has been sent to their network team.

I specifically asked them to whitelist these IPs and exclude them from any DPI filtering, since the issue only occurs when I connect through their mobile network on my smartphone.

I am now waiting for their response and will update this thread as soon as I hear back.
