Refusing to keep shows - "failed to resolve subscription"

OK, this one has been plaguing me for a while now…

Basically, I have certain shows that used to record FINE, however, once i make a change to how many episodes are kept, or delete some shows, it seems to refuse to keep any recordings.

heres a snippet of the logs for a specific show exhibiting this:

I have tried various things to solve this to no avail. Anyone any suggestions?

Hello. I’m having the same issue with my plex server. Were you able to resolve it?

My shows that are not recording show up in the Recording Schedule and are marked as “Recorded successfully”, however they do not show up under TV Shows or in my recordings folder.

Below is what I’m seeing in the log. The “Failed to resolve subscription for 'guid:…” shows up for every show that does not successfully record.

I’m running server version 1.7.2.3878 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64 bit with 8 GB memory and a i5 processor. I’m also using a hdhomerun connect.

I’ve searched around and have not been able to find a solution either.

Please let me know.

Thanks!

What entries do you have after the show ends?

Thanks @johnm_ColaSC for letting me know that is what I should expect to be happening. I’ll gather the logs and open a different thread so I don’t hijack this one!

@trevor.brent If you’re opening a new thread please provide a link here as I (and likely others) are having the same issue with DVR…

@fthomas152 Go to the Show settings in the Library and change it back to the settings you want. Plex DVR seems to change the library settings but never change it back when you update the recording in the DVR. Keep in mind the 30 days is generally 30 days from the original air date not from the date recorded. See my last comment on this thread: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1459078#Comment_1459078 if you are unable to edit the library settings due to the show not displaying in the library.

I can confirm doing what @johnm_ColaSC describes fixes this issue. I had to go through the additional steps in the other post since I could no longer see the show in my library.
