Regression: constant 100% CPU core load on idle plex server

Hi,
I want to report regression on current ver. of plex media server on linux.

Regression:
Any plex server version never than 1.14.0.5470 has issue of idle plex server generated 100% constant load on random single cpu core.

Description:
1.install plex server on my archlinux server
2.server starts. all works ok
3.after some idle time (usually 3-12h of server idle) - server (without any reason) starts to generate 100% load on single random core on my i7 cpu.
4.restart helps: server again is initially idle with few % cpu load and after some hours server again starts to occupy single core with 100% load.
5.this issue is for any plex linux server newer than 1.14.0.5470. ver 1.14.0.5470 is last ver. working ok (without any issues).

Environment: ArchLinux OS, 4.13.5 kernel.

It there are needs for any kind of log or my system details - pls suggest. I’ll provide this promptly.

There are many, many threads dealing with this issue that you might have found if you’d searched first.

It’s most likely an interaction with UPnP on your router if you’re running OpenWrt or some other system that utilises minupnpd. The problem has been identified by Plex staff, test builds have been created that resolve the issue and we’re waiting for it to go into a production build.

Much more information here:

Quick fix is to disable UPnP on your router and restart PMS, but be aware of the impact this may have on other devices on your network.
