Reinstalling Plex on a new computer, how to keep my metadata

I have been using Plex server for about 9 years or so with almost zero issues. The question i have is i am installing a new computer that will be running my plex server. I have many libraries with well over 10K movies and shows, i have about 30TB of data. As we all know when you add a new movie sometimes it matches it wrong or doesn’t match it at all to the correct movie. Now if i reinstall the server on a new computer i will be moving the internal movie drives over also, so nothing will change on my library drives but i know on the new install plex will index the libraires and most likely incorrectly match 1,000’s of movies i have already fixed.

Is there a way to copy over that meta data for the libraries so it does not reindex them when reinstalling? Fixing the movies when they come in is one thing but to try and figure out the mistakes on 10K+ would be almost impossible.

Any help would be appreciated

TY i will give that a try but when it rescans the libraries with the old data, i am hoping this will not mess up the matches, i did this once before many years ago like this and when i got to the part to rescan it unmatched and rematched everything all wrong…

Does it matter that i am using win 10 and going win 11? is it the same procedure?

The differences between W10 and W11 are practically insignificant for Plex server.
