Why aren't the Xbox Apps in the Release announcements forum?
Because the apps are not publicly released yet, they are both in a “preview stage” for Plex Pass members only. Once the apps are ready for an official public release you will see it in the release announcements forum. This is one of the many benefits of having a pass as you know.

As a new plex pass member, purely to try out the Xbox 360 app, I was actually looking for release notes. Have there been updates to the app since release? Have they posted any "what's new" type notes with the release?
I'm guessing the reason they are not there is more due to the fact that aside from the initial release, there haven't been any further updates. Other apps in the release announcements section show when there is a plex pass release and when there is a normal release with notes for each.
