Remote access and NFS

Server Version#:4.29.2
Player Version#:

I’ve been having issues with remote access. It appears that my movie library (local drive) works fine but my series library (NFS mount) consistently gives playback errors.

Both work flawlessly on the local network.

Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks

I’m sorry, I can’t work with that.

  1. Settings - Server - General
  2. Turn DEBUG logging back on. You save nothing with it off because size is fixed.
  3. Keep VERBOSE off
  4. Now recreate the failure
  5. Wait 20 seconds
  6. Download the Logs ZIP file
  7. Attach it.

Tried enabling Debug and Verbose. The only error I see is

Oct 30, 2020 17:49:33.431 [0x928f6440] ERROR - Unable to find client profile for device; platform=PlayStation, platformVersion=v2.2.0-0-g7a4da32 SDK: (0x06008051u), Built: May 28 2019 17:55:06, device=PlayStation 4, model=PlayStation 4

The client gets “Playback Error: An unexpected playback problem occurred”.

I’ve confirmed that this is only happening with media on the NFS mount. If I move a file to a local drive it will play.

May I see the logs please?

I cannot help without seeing them
