PLEX Library can be seen and browsed, but media won't playback; local or remotely

I’m having an issue where PLEX won’t play back any media, to any device. I’ve tried on 3 computers locally, 1 remotely, and 1 mobile phone remotely. It will show me the library contents and load all metadata correctly, then when I hit “Play” I get the infinite loading circle and the media never plays.

Remote access is enabled, but since even the local computers can’t playback, I don’t think this is the issue.

I’ve updated to the latest PLEX plugin version on TrueNAS, and made sure the TrueNAS is up to date as well. I can’t pickout any specific error codes in the log, I will need help with that. I’m not new to PLEX, but I am new to troubleshooting PLEX. Any help is appreciated! Logs attached. hh

Server Version#: TrueNAS-12.0-RELEASE
Player Version#: 1.20.5.3600

(File removed)

Update: It appears to play all .mp4 files locally, but will not play .mkv files locally, OR .mp4 or .mkv files remotely. I’m getting a new error in the PLEX console:

[Transcode/lhlbhk26kvsuriinfzofna65] Transcode runner appears to have died.
[Transcode/lhlbhk26kvsuriinfzofna65] Timed out waiting for segment.

So something regarding transcoding has gone wrong, and isn’t letting me play anything other than direct stream. At least, that’s what I think is happening.

Gave up troubleshooting. Did an uninstall/reinstall and all seems to be working now. Weird.
