Anyone else noticing that the remote access checks good but then goes red at the last step if you watch it for a few seconds?
Remote access appears to work fine even though it complains, however when accessing plex from a remote device not on the lan it takes a few seconds there before the media libraries kick in, it never used to do this they look dark but online plex stuff is active then they eventually light up
I would just write off the delay in display on the remote client but the tester fouling has me wondering if the current stable windows 10 server release has a little bug.
Not aware of any related bugs.
The temporarily green status turning red has been discussed before and seems to be related to Plex doing some preliminary test (considering things are ok) and then recognizing the remote access is actually not ok when attempting to connect (turning it red).
Can you confirm your apps connect directly to your remote server or if this is an indirect/relayed connection? This will e.g. show on the Now Playing tile of the server dashboard during a remote stream (or on Plex Dash).
The accessibility check can also show failure, when the server is only directly accessible via a custom URL. (vs. the automatically assigned subdomain in the plex.direct domain)
