I updated your macOS version of Plex yesterday and now when I go to use remote access it will completely crash the server. Is this a known bug that you are working on to correct?

I am on MacOS and have not seen any crashes. Do you mean it crashes as soon as you enable remote access or when you connect with a player?
It crashes as soon as you use a client to connect to the server via remote access.
Could you get the server logs after it crashes? (I’m assuming it does not matter which remote client you are using)
so download the logs after i reboot the server?

My fault I finally got it.
Don’t see anything obvious in your logs. One just seems to stop. Looks like you were tried to play Chicago PD on an iOS device, is that correct? Can you see if there are any crash logs . I’m going to make an issue report for this.
also it looks like you are using UPNP for remote access. have you tried setting up port forwarding manually?
I have not set up the manual port forwarding. I will do that once I return home and see if that helps. I will also check for crash logs as well and upload them if there are any.
How do I disable the upnp? And if that is disabled do I have to enable the port forwarding?

You can’t download crash logs you need to manually go the folder they are stored on your computer. the location is in the link. (to be clear it is possible there are not any created)
as far as UPNP it depends on router. Most modern ones will allow for manually forwarding and UPnP to exist at same time and will just use the manual rules if set before trying UPnP.
How plex decides to ask the router to use UPnP or not is if you set the port in your remote access settings. if this is enabled with the external port used in router port forwarding then it will not ask router to use UPnP to set a port.

I did the manual port forwarding and tried a remote access stream. The server still crashed. I am hoping that this is a bug that popped up all of a sudden.

The one set is from early this afternoon in terms of the crash logs and the other one is from earlier this evening.
Could you possibly guide me in rolling back the macOS version of Plex to the prior version to hopefully avoid this issue? Is that a possible solution?
just quit the server and replace it in the Applications folder then launch it like normal
