I have pms set to 32400 on a static ip. It connects fine bit after a few seconds gives the “not available outside your network”.
I then click “enable remote access” and it connects fine. Green.
Within 3 seconds it is red. " not available outside your network"
Would anyone have thoughts on this?
You might check your router… I had to go in and toggle my UPnp off set it then toggle it back on… I do not know why this worked but it did…
Me too for OP’s issue. I dont use UPNP, and i’ve checked and my ports are all forwarded correctly - yet my family are getting ‘indirect connection’ only. I’ve read elsewhere that its an issue with v1.18 and i’m now looking to rollback to v1.17
In the past when a new version was issued it would kill remote access toggling the UPnp fixed it every time …
Plex is junk. Try Air Video server. Sets up in seconds and works perfectly. I hade the huge mistake of buying Plex’s lifetime pass. How they can fool people into thinking this useless code can be accessed remotely is an accomplishment by them.
