Remote Access Double NAT Solutions

I’m running a plex docker in Unraid and was trying to get Remote Access to work on Plex. I know I have a double NAT and because of my dad’s company there isn’t much I can do about it. I added the port 32400 like recommend to both of my Routers with the correct internal IPs. I got Remote Access to work for like 2 minutes until it stopped working. I go on Xfinity and it says I have 7 ‘Unauthorized Access Attempts’ on my port that I just set. Should I not being using this port? if so what do I need to change to get another port to work. Why did it stop working? Did xfinity just go no to plex when it totally should have allowed it? If I can’t change my double nat are there any other recommendations on what to do?

Sounds like your ISP is trying to make things more secure for you by blocking the incoming traffic (at least after a number of interactions).
You can try manually assigning a public port on the outer router instead (port forwarding) – however… if the ISP considers your remote access a security violation you might need to get in touch with them.

I had double nat issues. After trying everything i now pay my isp for a static ip. Success…
