Was having issues with remote access not working but finally got that fixed. But now from outside my local network any apps (ios,etc) show my server as offline. Any idea why? I’ve attached my logs.
I’m having the same issue. Plex doesn’t work on any of my devices says my Plex is offline. When I log into my Plex on my computer and look at remote access everything is fine and says Fully Accessible outside your network. So I don’t know what the issue is.
It sounds like you were having a different issue as your phone was saying your server was offline on the same network, all the rest of us had no problem on our own network.
For me, and it sounds like pstokes89, it was only phone apps giving a problem with remote access, from computers or other devices(like TVs or PS4) it was fine. This problem randomly came out of the blue yesterday and seems to have resolved itself today with no changes for me. @pstokes89 has yours resolved as well?
No I’m still having issues. My PMS upgraded overnight to vers 1.18.0.1906 my remote access is back to not working but I’m currently connected my PMS remotely (says Indirect) but it shows all my content online. From my iphone or other devices I’m still showing everything as offline.
I went through all of the troubleshooting and everything checked out. Plex indicated it was available outside the network and I still couldn’t access from my phone. Deleted the iOS Plex app and reinstalled it and it then worked!
So it’s only some what fixed. I can access the PMS if I’m connected to the same network has the PMS. So it doesn’t work if I’m not connected to my home network.
