Remote Access Flashes Green (good) than stops working

Server Version#: 1.19.5.3112
Player Version#: NA

Hi there,

I’ve recently setup a second plex server. This plex serer is running in docker on an unraid NAS.

While on my local network connectivity seems fine. However I seem to be having trouble getting the remote access working properly.

If I go in under the remote access section it will tell me that remote access is not working. If I click the retry button it will do its thing and change the status to green/telling me remote access is working fine. If I refresh/wait a few seconds it will change back to red/not working.

In regards to port forwarding:

I basically duplicated the settings I have for my 1st server. (for reference the 1st server has worked flawlessly for remote access and continues to)
The only exception being is I manually changed the port to 32401 (internal is still 32400)

Anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers!

For reference if I use “automatic” mode and let Plex choose the port using upnp it will choose something and do the exact same thing.

Will start with a nice green check mark, tell me its fully connected.
If I click another menu to refresh after leaving it a few seconds it will revert back to red/not connected again.

Tried rebuilding the port forwarding rules again with no change in the results.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there no way to debug this further with plex?

Thanks

Check canyouseeme.org for your port forwarding for success in the new port

Wow totally forgot about trying a port test site. This has got my head spinning.

Thanks for the help. It would appear there is some sort of glitch? on my firewall. Without getting to technical about my firewall I tested the ports and 1 will not work. BUT if I reverse the ports on my nat rules the previously working one will stop and the the one not working will then work. Anyway will continue troubleshooting on that end. Does not appear there is any issue on the Plex side now.

Thanks!
