With the last few versions of the IOS app and Google TV app, I’m constantly losing the ability to see my Plex Library outside of my home. I have forwarding working properly (30 year network engineer) and can confirm it works for others on apple TV with no issue.
IOS App: over the past 2-3 months, the releases of IOS app have removed my ability to see Live TV, and now as of the latest update I cannot see my Plex Libraries at all. This previously worked fine and I used it often. Now it says my libraries are offline and attempts to reconnect fail.
Google TV: Plex only can see my libraries after rebooting the television. If I walk away, TV goes to sleep and I come back, my libraries are disconnected. The only way to fix it is to reboot the TV.
I’d really like to understand what is going on with this ecosystem.
