Remote Access: iOS app crashes when try movies, but iphone browser can play movies fine

I can be on my phone off my local network hosts my Plex Media Service and use the iOS Plex app to access my library fine. All the data loads, I can see my entire library. However, when I click on a movie to watch it, my app crashes.

Initially I thought maybe it was my remote access settings, but no. I can open my iphone’s Edge web browser app and go to the plex website and watch my movies perfectly.

So I believe it is purely the iOS Plex app. I scrolled the forum and didn’t see any similar posts who’s apps aren’t playing movies but CAN play movies remotely via the web browser.

UPDATE: very consistent. My iOS app will have errors and randomly restart movies, but using Plex through edge is flawless. Has anyone experienced the same?
