I need help. I have an Synology ds720 Plus and I have huge issuse getting remote access on a Plex server to work, after ISP change.
Here is what I have tried so far:
I have taken my internal IP address, 192.168.0.107, and put it in DHCP reservation in my router.
I tried Port triggering/Port Forward and both internal and external Port is set to 32400.
Tried with UPnP off and on.
I have a static IP, and my router is an Asus RT-AX68U. The Nas is connected diretly to the router.
Bonus tip: Before I changed to the new ISP, I had a static IP at my old ISP, and here Plex worked like a charm
Anyone who knows what to do?
I have a Static IP from my new ISP.
When I go to canyouseeme.org and search on port 32400 is says: " Error: I could not see your service on 217.71.X.X on port (32400 ) Reason:Connection timed out"
What ISP do you have now? Possibly another user has the same and can offer advice. Some ISPs like Comcast/Xfinity in the US have their own “internet security” feature in their modem/routers that need to be disabled.
Is is a Danish provider called Bolig-Net

According to their own FAQ, in order to have a server, you need to buy a static IP address with them
https://l.bolignet.dk/kundeservice/internet/faq
Look for " Kan jeg tilslutte en server til forbindelsen?"
Edit: I see you mention you do have a static IP, so maybe the port is blocked by you ISP?
I suggest you contact their support
