Hi everyone! I’m new to Plex, and I really love it so far! I have a bit of an issue with the Remote Access of my account, however. I use a VPN occasionally, but not when I’m streaming through Plex. I accidentally left it on, and now it keeps routing through the VPN IP address instead of my regular IP address. I’ve tried to manually specify the public port, but that isn’t working. I can get it to stream on my network, but I’m trying to share my library with friends outside of my wifi network. Is there a way to reset the IP connection on Plex so that it will automatically go back to my regular IP address? Thanks so much! (Also, I’m sorry if this is a stupid question. I looked through the forums and couldn’t seem to find anything to help with this.)
Was there ever a way to get back the public IP and stop VPN from hanging its IP in the public IP blocking remote access. Friday 5/10/2019 working this issue over weekend, hope someone can help…
