After upgrade to the latest version remote access says it is not working. I can disable and then enable remote access and it says that I have full remote access … for about 5 seconds … and then it switches back to NO REMOTE ACCESS.
Very strange. Everything else with my Windows 10 system has been solid. I have been a lifetime license member for several / many years.
Same exact issue here too. Absolutely no changes to network at all. Additionally PMS is acting like local connection is not available and routing local streams through Plex Relay.
Same problem here, but some can get in shortly and then get the msg #server cant handle… - but it works if you DONT use an app - via web it just plays …
SO tired of paying for pass and getting all these problems … stuff gets released way to fast it seems - fix pleas
Update - to make it clear - i can get mine to go GREEN - so i think it works … and it works for me from outside via mobil - im thinking its cause im a plex user - cause nobody else on my server can get in other than a few like written above
I rolled back to 1.16.5.1554 and no longer have the issues. Remote Access is now available and it is no longer routing local streams through Plex Relay.
Although remote access shows red and states “not available outside your network” that is not true. People I share with are still able to get access.
Hoping that PLEX may have fixed the problem apparantly caused by their last update, I updated to Version 1.17.0.1841. Same issue … showing FALSELY no access outside my network. This is the equivalent of a Check Engine light when nothing is wrong.

Good morning Plex People! I have not had external access since the middle of August. This is clearly a problem others are having too. Can you post a workaround? I need external access next week. Thanks in advance.
