Hello Group, sorry this is going to be a bit of a long post but i see the trend that more details are better than fewer.
I am Running a dedicated Unraid Server and Plex Media server with a PFsense dedicated router.
About 4 weeks ago after updated all of these programs/apps/servers i have started facing a lot of problems on external streaming. some devices buffer constantly, others (like a mobile) wont even start the stream. I have read SO many post and none apply…
The BIGGEST indicated is the security… if i turn the PLEX server’s Secure connections to DISABLED, and change the mobile setting to Always allow insecure connections… EVERYTHING works!
The Details
Server Version#: UNRAID 6.8.3
Player Version#: PLEX 1.19.5.3112
Router Version#: PFsense 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1
I have a 500mbs(down)/200mbs(up) connection (speed test confirmed)
My Check list
Port forward 32400
Enable NAT reflection (tried both Pure Nat and NAT + Proxy)
DNS resolver custom option:

Disable server support for IPv6 (on Plex server)
I even spent DAYS to start a new test Plex server with a revers proxy (https://plex.mydomain.com)… set all the security up…SSL/HTTPS… and it worked!!! but… absolutely no change… meaning its not the encrypted connection thats the issue…
What i am asking here is for some wisdom…
