Remote access kimsufi

Hello,

I would request some help as I am now stuck since some days.

Status

  • plexserver installed in a kimsufi dedicated server : KS-10 Intel i5-2300
  • Installation is done
  • Connection with putty to configure the server => OK
  • Check that the server is accessible from outside : “Server fully accessible from outside” => OK
    • port 32400
  • I close putty
  • Connect to the server : ip.server/web => OK
  • Connect to app.plex.tv => KO
    It says : server is currently unavailable
  • Connect threw Android application => offline

Do you have any adea why I have this issue. What I missed in my configuration.

It is currently using standart apt installation
I have tried with iptable deactivated
I have tried when connected in “tunnel” mode to disconnect and reconnect
I have tried other installation with docker and same issue

So now I am blocked.

from a different PC on the same network go to canyouseeme.org and test the port you have setup for remote access default is 32400 and see what it shows.

I have checked from my with https://openport.net/

Domain : XX.XX.XX.XX on Port 32400 is Close

Test done from my home. Domain XX is the IP of my dedicated server.

So it means it looks closed.

I tried to understand why it is closed but could not found the reason. Any idea how to check what is blocking this port ?

I did an additional check with https://www.portcheckers.com/

91.121.XXX.XXX :arrow_right: Port 32400 Open

And again from outside
I can access to XX.XX.XX.XX:32400 but app.plex.tv is not working
