Remote access lasts about 1 second

Server Version#:3.53.7

Recently I stopped being able to get into my server remotely. Port forwarding works, there is no double NAT, the router redirects perfectly to other apps and computers, Windows firewall is good (port is open, all plex apps are open) but when I test the connection it goes green for a second then goes red. After reading the forums it seems to be a common problem. is there something I’m missing? Not a networking noob so this seems to be pointing at a server issue.

I can access the server just fine on my internal network.

I’m getting this same issue as well, and apparently it’s affecting how external viewers attempt to access even my media (not remote management). I am using an xFinity router that has their dumb portal online to port forward, there is no internal or external port option, just a port forward. Everything else on a port forward works just fine. No idea what I’m doing wrong.

Same issue here, I’ve had mine up for years and the last year something changed, remote is never a rock solid connection anymore and trying to get an answer is like pulling teeth. I purchases a Plex pass 15 months ago for $119 and only got to use it for 3 months before the constant crashing started. I’ve not has a connection last longer than 8-12 hours tops, then I have to restart it and the time is very random on how long it stays connected. I’ve shared log files everywhere on the forum trying to get answers, nothing. I’m going to ask for my money back if this can’t be resolved.

Used https://canyouseeme.org/ and inserted the port I opened for Plex (32400) and it verified it was open and not being blocked by my ISP so WTF is going on? Some real answers on this would be nice since all over the forum people are dealing with this issue.
