Problems with Remote Access

Player Version#: I do not know where to find it.

My old server crashed, and I set up a new Media Server. For some reason, the remote access does not stay connected. It says:
Not available outside your network
Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network.

I know that my router is set up correctly because I used it for years with my old Plex Media Server. I use Windows Server 2022 with the same IP address that I used before. I also allowed TCP and UDP connection on the firewall of my new server.

It takes me multiple times to connect. I click on the Retry button again and again until it connects. When it connects, it stays connected for between 5 to 30 minutes and disconnects after that.

I hope that someone can help me with this problem.

Iwreck myself for hours trying to get remote to work im come to the conclusion its Plex Side only Relay Works Direct Play through port foward only stay connected for second. then disable . not matter what version i use

I have the same issue, started yesterday. Was working fine before that, then randomly can’t connect. It’s NOT a network issue on my end.

Hi, I have local and internet ports opened on AVM Cable Router 6660. Same issue.
No remote access. Connecting with green indicator then after short time RED with no direct connection. Firewall is switched off. Player never said Direct. Always indirect.

My issue was with local Windows firewall. As soon as I opened ports on my local computer, everything works.
