Server Version#: Version 4.146.0
Player Version#: 1.41.8.9834
I recently move out of state and I’m unable to share Plex with family remotely.
I had my ISP put my modem in a bridge mode and that didn’t work
Remote Access shows green for a minute then goes red, I manually specified public port 32400
I have 4 eero’s the TS-450 is hardwired into a switch
can someone help me?
Contact your ISP and ask if they use CG-NAT addressing.
If so, ask if they offer a public, IPv4 address that supports port forwarding. It does not have to be static, but must be unique to your account.
They may charge extra for the service.
CG-NAT addressing is incompatible with Plex remote access. It places the Plex server in a double-NAT situation, even when using your own router.
- Yes 32400
- EEERO’s only
- Yes I believe so
My WAN IP Address is different
than Gateway eero IP Address should that matter?
I’ve sent you a PM with some of your info (as seen by Plex.tv) to aid in diagnosing this.
