Those IPs for AWS resolve to Ireland. Adding that fixed it. UPDATE: I went back to allowing only the US for incoming connections and added those 2 IPs as allowed to my Synology NAS. Connection status is showing green now with that setup. Thanks @flow !

The IP address pool used by Plex.tv does change from time to time. The best way to check is to restart PMS ( debug logging ) and look at the “MyPlex” addresses in use. If you look carefully, you can search for “Reachability” and see the Remote Access test request and then the reply.

Yeah I don’t think it’s just georestrictions. I’m on 1.31.2.6810 Remote Access has a red exclamation but its working fine and I have no geo-blocking so I think the issue is at Plex’s end. If I manually run the test again the tick goes green and then when you go away from the page it goes red again…

Remote Access at Plex.tv faulted. It was fixed around 4:30am EST

I’ve since deleted the 2 IPs and not allowing any non-US IPs to connect (GeoIP blocking) and it’s still reporting remote access as green. Not sure what changed recently.
