For anyone curious, this is what worked for me as far as ipv6 connectivity goes, the /web part should not be there, other than that this is what i did that worked after putting my 3rd party router(orbi rbk750) in passthrough mode for ipv6.
The main problem with this is only people with ipv6 connectivity available through their isp AND turned on in their router(most routers have ipv6 off by default unless they’re from an isp that only has ipv6).
As I said earlier, this does not work for me as I have clients who do not have ipv6 access or are not technically savvy enough to be able to enable it in their router.
I am having great success using CloudFlare Tunnels and using my domain for the tunnel to plex as a custom access domain in plex settings. Everything just works. All my users can connect just as they always have.
Really hoping one day plex will implement a connection similar to how Parsec does it. IP version and port forwarding does not matter. The connection starts at both ends and parsec facilitates the connection. Once connected media is streamed directly between server and client. There would not be any extra strain on plex’ servers. In fact it would probably reduce strain on plex’s servers as the relay setting would no longer be needed as all connections would now be direct.
